Anzac Tribute, Ellesmere Speedway 2026

PLEASE STAND. “At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them. Lest We Forget”. Ellesmere Speedway reflects and pays tribute too those who lost their lives all those years ago at Gallipoli. As the troops rolled out, just reflect and look back and think how times have changed thanks to those thousands of brave souls. Here we have the troops marching out in uniform, with horsepower and on wheels. Back in WW1, the troops marched out with rifles and weapons, through barbed wire fences, too booby traps and under attack. Over 10,000 lost their lives and too this day, around the country, Australia and New Zealand Will Never Forget Them.
