SALOONS, ASHBURTON SPEEDWAY

SALOONS from far and wide, headed to Mid Canterbury to crank the clay of Ashburton Speedway. 5TH MAY 2024 Good number of Saloons rolled out the gate and fantastic to see the 15T of Phil Burgess Racing all the way from Cromwell. A special tribute flew on the back of the 15T, that being a orange band for his ol mate Terry Westley , whom was known too many around NZ, as he was Crew Chief for that wickedly quick 21N of Burson Racing, not only quick, but always such a cool looking car, with one hell of a style. So dam wrapped to have made it up to Ashburton, may have missed 1st hour of racing, but caught a special moment for Phil with his win, dedicated to the great bloke. One other bloke seen a bit of, hats of to him too for the big travel up this way, Graham Williamson. Pity wasnt there to capture his win. Once again, plz excuse the lack of knowledge to others in the class, its very much like trying to find hens teeth when trying to find info on the Ashburton facebook page.
