QUARTER MIDGETS, BEACHLANDS SPEEDWAY. JAN 2026

KIDS OF THE CLAY ROLL UP ROLL UP...... and that they did. A dam good turn out, down there in Dunedin at Beachland Speedway, out rolled nearly 20 1/4 Midgets, for what i believe too be the first time 1/4 Midgets have run at Beachlands. Kids Of The Clay, with a age bracket ranging from 8 years old too 16, all suited up, skid lids on and ready to pound the clay of Beachland speedway with their 4 stroke, 200cc machines. When ya see these young ones drive, crikey they drive far better than some on the public road, but nevermind.. We hear to capture the 1/4 Midgets in action for the first time in Dunedin. For one proud Mum who couldnt be there, i have got the cross hairs on your little darling in the 82C, that being the little racer from Canterbury, Samantha Sinclair in the 82C, ad how good to be able to capture some audio from Chris Campbell as he had a pre recorded interview with Sam. I take my hat of too this family, Steve, Bonnie & daughter Samantha certainly have one busy schedule, with the 82C Modiifed, the 82C Lightning Sprint and now the 82C 1/4 Midget. Great family and all show up with well presented cars and give their guts for glory. Righteo... get into it, All the 1/4 Midget action, from great night down there at Custom Signs Beachlands Speedway on Saturday night.
